Leinenkugels Summer Shandy |

A Shandy is lemonade flavored beer, a European favorite during the warmer months. Very light and crisp! Also made with real Honey.
Hang on; we're seeing what we know about Leinenkugels Summer Shandy... 
I enjoy other Leinenkugel beers, but this one has too strong of a lemon flavor.
The "lemonade" part of the fusion sounds kinda like they got it wrong..for my part, if it's not beer and ginger ale, it's not a shandy. (As an aside, I used to know a guy who tended bar at a hotel where the NBA teams would stay, and he said that a couple of big names--I don't remember who now, I never really followed basketball--were huge fans of a Heineken-and-sprite. I've tried it..it's actually not bad!)
This is my favorite Leinie's beer. And sure, maybe Leinenkugel's isn't that great--but it's cheap (especially in Wisconsin and other Midwestern states) and tastes pretty good. I could literally drink this for days.
They attempted a fusion of beer and lemonaid. Something cool to try but not that good tasting. I would however be up for combining a stout and lemonaid together just to see what I get.
Don't hold back Sean... tell us how you 'really' feel about this brew! hahahaaaa
I am just not a fan of Leinenkugel. I'm not a big shandy drinker in the first place, but you can taste the Leinenkugel beer in behind the lemonade in this particular shandy, which, in my case, is not a plus.
Whoa! When they say lemony flavor… they mean lemony flavor!! I’m not a big fan of ‘fruity’ beers but this one was somewhat enjoyable. It’s a good summer beer but only in small quantities because of the lemony taste which somewhat overpowers the flavor of the beer. Would definitely be a good ‘cooking’ beer as the beer and lemon flavors would greatly compliment fish/seafood dishes!
