One of my top five beers without a doubt. Everything made by rogue is great, their Chocolate Stout is another great one. This beer has a definite coffee aroma and flavor to it. As soon as you pop the cap you will be able to smell it, and there is a definite mocha after taste. Great beer, and I recommend it to all coffee drinkers.
What a heavenly scent one receives when this brew is first opened up! One of THE best American porters I have yet to try! Loads of chocolate and coffee/espresso in this brew. Let it sit out of the ‘fridge for an hour or so and enjoy the more robust flavors and scents! (Brews of this style intensify as they warm to room temperature!) This brew is absolutely superb!
i'm not usually a porter fan but this is pretty good if you like dark, bitter beers. would be fantastic with some nice dark chocolate.
